Outsource the typing, not the deciding

Bro, form your own opinion before you let AI near it.

If I open a blank document and ask AI to think for me, I get a smooth answer and a duller brain.

AI tools are great at aggregating information, so use it. Get an overview, ask it probing questions, challenge outcomes. Let it challenge your impressions. It's your sparring partner. You will be better for it.

But don't let the outcome be your voice and leave it at that.

Obviously it does not apply as much where the thinking barely matters. A standard monthly report, for example. Nobody needs my personal voice and opinion in that.

But on a project, a hire, a strategy call, it is different.

Outsource the typing, but never the deciding.
