Who owns quality of delivery?

In many teams that build AI products or products with AI, there is a gap. Speed has an owner, maybe devops or a p95 dashboard. Someone gets paged when it slows down. The quality of what the AI says or does often has no owner at all.

Nobody watches it. Nothing alerts on it. It quietly gets worse for weeks. Everyone assumes someone else is watching.

This is not a technical problem. It is a leadership choice. You need to set standards up and review them together. How do you handle the throughput? How do you handle edge cases? Are systems in place to revert and rollback?

Without that, quality drifts uncontrollable. Nobody notices until a user does.
